Dubplates/Specials

Dubplates were single-copy acetate records. DJs could play unreleased tracks, exclusive remixes and vocal drops/intros.
In the 2000s, with the advent of CDJs, we were playing remixes and mashups burned onto CD.
Nowadays, in the purely digital realm there are myriad dubs and edits that can make their way into DJ sets.
